My Three Favourite Thai Dishes

It is not secret that I love my Thai food. Here are my three favourite Thai dishes. Make sure you try them all and let me know which is your favourite.

3 – Pad Kra Pao

I love to make Pad Kra Pao. It is a Thai stir-fry featuring minced meat (most commonly pork, chicken, or beef) cooked with garlic, chillies and holy basil. I serve it with boiled rice and top it with a crispy fried egg (kai dao). It is quick and easy to make and absolutely delicious.

2 – Guay Tiew

Guay Tiew is the general Thai term for noodle soup served with meat and vegetables. I like to go to my local Thai restaurant and order this dish with pork or beef. It is perfect for warming me up on cold winter evenings.

1 – Laab Moo

Laab Moo is a popular, vibrant Northeastern Thai (Isaan) salad made from minced pork, seasoned with lime juice, fish sauce, chili flakes, and toasted rice powder. It features a bold savoury, sour, and spicy flavour profile, packed with fresh herbs like mint and shallots. I have this dish at least once a week. I love, love, love it!
